Lunch - Friday, June 12, 2008
So lunch today was catered breakfast foods and I just couldn’t help myself.
- 5 breakfast-sized pork sausage links
- 4 slices of bacon
- a heaping of scrambled eggs (maybe the size of two tennis balls)
- a cup of fresh fruit (honeydew, cantaloupe, pineapple, oranges, and grapes)
I wanted more, but I stopped myself. An hour after lunch, I felt tired and groggy. This happened before, the last time I tried to eat healthy, whenever I eat heavy/fatty foods, I felt physically dulled and slowed afterwards.
Let that be a lesson to me!
